Most of the decent Aggro corps were already on the way out when this hit. Mamba, RCON, H.IN, Meltdown, Nomad, .CAN., just to name a few. Some have left already, some are giving it some time for the members who have not logged on to get their stuff out of the station. There was a leadership meeting Wednesday where issues were raised with alliance leadership and ignored, and that was the last straw for a lot of people.
I think most Aggro members have learned their lesson and will be careful to not ever be in an alliance that involves FoFF in the future. Lots of drama about whose fault it is, Snake or FoFF and the truth is really both. Both were terrible for the alliance. Both failed at leading an alliance, and both should never ever be involved in alliance leadership again. Snake at least was trying, he just didn't have a clue how to do it. FoFF's mistakes were far more selfish in nature.
Some fun facts about aggro:
Despite cursing carebears and macros, the alliance leadership knowingly handed over 1 of the best constellations to a group of macros to use. The entire WTE-CK was handed over to a corp of 8 players (only 7 of which could use combat ships). Only this corp of 8 people were allowed to farm the constellation, and all of Aggro was banned from going there. 100% utilization of the constellation was maintained by the macros, although their useage has dropped in the past few hours due to the cluster**** that is Immensea right now.
Aggro managed to F up their jump bridges and their own members were getting shot by them during the evac yesterday.
Aggro has managed to lose 3 jump freighters in the last few days. The same FoFF guy even managed to lose TWO.
When PL jumped in a bait of a dozen caps a few days ago, the response fleet had not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR different fleet commanders. 1 fleet, 4 different people shouting contradictory orders on teamspeak. Obviously the results were not very impressive with a bunch of Aggro ships dead and not 1 PL ship killed.
FoFF and STEMP had word of the reset before the other corps. They put something out to the other CEOs only after people started asking why FoFF leadership was jumping so many assets out.
I don't think many of the CEOs were surprised by the Atlas reset. Aggro was a mess and was rapidly imploding already. All the reset did was speed things up a bit and cause corps who were looking for a new alliance to accelerate their evac of Aggro space.
interesting. We left a week before the shart hit the fan. I'd love to claim perfect knowledge and foresight like Gho but I guess I'm not as bright.. then again.. I didn't have the foresight and we left before it hit.. hmmm
For the most part.. I think Snake did a reasonably good job and was always cool to our corp. I think ultimately it was a number of F-OFF a$$wipes that undid anything Riven or Snake tried to do. They shouted down, *****ed and moaned and verbally pummeled anyone that didn't do as they wished. That was something I and our corp had rapidly grown tired of.
We left on good terms because Riven and Snake were good dudes. But there were too many evangelists in F-OFF that thought the alliance was theirs to abuse. It looks like they are getting what they deserved. Those in F-OFF that are tired of the BS in that drama boat...;-)

It becomes even funnier when you use prefixes.. like 'Bobby' + ' Atlas' Bobby Atlas?
or maybe we should just call him dribble. I don't know why.. he makes me think of that little dribble if you don't shake enough.

Atlas reset them not because of F-OFF but because the alliance as a whole wouldn't lick Bobby's taint on command. The fact that F-OFF are ****s, doesn't detract from the fact that Bobby is a mongloid.
However.. it seems F-OFF (minus a few good dudes) think they are hot s**t and run the whole alliance. they have the numbers but put most of them in a room together and you couldn't play bingo without reading the rules to them a dozen times.
Not sure why RDK, Ximi and a few others hang with those ****s.

I'm still cool right?
There are quite a few of you in Atlas I would enjoy flying with again.. but not while you are with that tool.
I yearn for the days when the space sucked, our allies were lead by a complete lunatic a$$hat but we still kicked a$$.

Originally by: Mistmare There are very few people in FOFF I really like and I really enjoyed flying with.
These few people are pretty much the following: Ivan, Cosmo, Ximi. I also enjoyed flying with Seth before the drama. I also had a good laugh with riven sometimes but I didn't see him much so no idea on that.
Ivan, I'd love to stay in contact with you, if you choose to leave FOFF feel free to get back to me if you can't find a place to stay :P
Cosmo, I enjoyed flying with you, the fun times we had when DDing someone and the fun fleet ops we participated in together, it was nice and I liked it. Also I can't believe that FOFF actually kicked all corps because of being scared of loosing the name "Aggression.". It's just not worth it to loose so many friends and to abandon a lot of good corps! (some corps actually planned to stay).
I'd love to stay in contact with the "good" side of FOFF tbh but sometimes thats not even possible.
The other FOFF members: I'm really, really disapointed.

Well said Mist.. in our couple months in Aggro.. guys like yourself, and most HI dudes, all of Cootz and his bros.. Ximi, Cosmo, RDK, Ivan, Riven and a few others mad that a great time. Seth and Dreshna can lick my taint because emo children are as fun as a menstrual cycle after a night drinking...
Ivan.. you are welcome with us if you ever so choose.. same with any of the ones I've mentioned though I recognize trying to fix something in your own backyard is often the preferred choice.
Cheers to the good ones and .!. to the others.
